Purpose

The specific training requirements for emergency response operations are specified in OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910.120 Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response.

OSHA Regulations contain requirements for employers to provide adequate training for employees so that they have the knowledge and skill to perform their duties and tasks with minimal risk to the health and safety.
